Nice to be out of the deep freeze for the time-being. Sunday was a lovely day for snowshoeing at Camp Plymouth State Park. The area across the road from the group field has been plowed, so there is ample room for parking. Just be aware that the lake has spots that are not frozen.
Plan to attend the Pancake Breakfast at the Plymouth Town Building on Saturday, 1/18 from 8 – 10 AM sponsored by Black River Good Neighbor Services. It will provide a time to enjoy good food and to learn about this helpful organization.
There are many wonderful and informative activities taking place at Fletcher Memorial Library in Ludlow and Plymouth residents are encouraged to attend. County Forester, Hannah Dallas will be there on Monday, 1/13 at 5:30. Cocoa and Coloring from 5 to 6:30 PM on 1/27 is open to all ages. There are many child-centered activities on the website. The 3rd Annual “Love Your Library” on-line auction gets underway 2/7, with final bidding 2/21, so check it out. Thanks the many community donors who contribute prizes and help to make this fundraiser a success. On 2/10 at 6:00 PM the Book Discussion will feature Gather by Kenneth M Cadow. A grant has been received to bring the Bess O’Brien film “Just Getting By” to the auditorium in Ludlow on 2/6 at 6:30 that will include a discussion period with her afterward.
