Warmer weather, select board meeting recap, upcoming program at Ludlow Town Hall ~ Margo’s Plymouth report

1/27/25

I am really enjoying this warmer weather and beautiful sunshine today (Monday). It almost seems like a heatwave! The four inches of recent snow have made everything look pristine. Deer prints across my driveway, tell of nighttime guests. The birds seem particular happy, too. Even some of my indoor plants are flowering – always an uplifting sign.

I was not able to attend the Select Board meeting on 1/13, but you can find the minutes on the Town website. It was nice to see that Jay Kullman noted they were able to reduce taxes by $12,000.00 after reviewing the budget.

Don’t forget the upcoming program on 2/6 at 6:30 PM of the film, Just Getting By at the Ludlow Town Hall auditorium. Support has been received from the VT Humanities Council for this showing about the struggles and resiliency of low-income VT households.

As noted on “VT Explored” the coldest temperature reported in VT was -50 degrees in Bloomfield on 12/30/1933. Guess we can’t complaint about our recent temps!
