Select board meeting tonight, Fletcher Memorial Library Book discussion, upcoming community hike – Margo’s Plymouth report

2/2/25

A new month is beginning, the shortest one of the year! Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, but although winter is still very much with us, the daylight is noticeable longer. The almost daily snow flurries are keeping things bright and clean. I just wish the wind would die down and the temps would rise up!

The Select Board meeting is Monday evening at 6PM, with lots of interesting topics on the agenda The film, Just Getting By will be shown at the Ludlow Town Hall auditorium on 2/6 at 6:30 PM.

Fletcher Memorial Library will host a “Vermont Reads Gather” Book Discussion of the book Gather by Kenneth M Cadow on Monday, 2/10 at 6PM in the Community Room of the library. This discussion will be led by Suzanne Brown, a retired Visiting Assistant Professor at Dartmouth College who has led Vermont Humanities and New Hampshire Humanities Council book discussions for over 30 years. If you haven’t checked out the FML online auction site, it is well worth a look and a wonderful way to help provide support.
