Mamma Mia! Coming to Woodstock ~ Margo’s Plymouth Report

Thanks to Dana Dolloff for providing some interesting Ground Hog Day facts at the Community Luncheon on 2/21. Did you know that way back, a feast of ground hog dishes was part of the celebration? Guess that tradition didn’t last!

The Reading Group discussion provided many insights into family dynamics as we reviewed Go Ask Fannie by Elisabeth Hyde. We all agreed that the various twists and turns in the story brought several surprises. The next book is New York Times Bestseller, Little Fires Everywhere by Celest Ng. One of our members devoured it in one reading! Thanks to Shelburne Library, copies are available to be signed out at our Town Office if you would like to read it and be part of the dialogue.  The discussion will take place on 3/21 at 6:30 at the Community Center.

How nice that Anna Hepler & Julia Kowalski are both part of the Forensics team at WUHS that won the State Championship. Congrats! Please know that Bea Wheeler is in the Gill Home now, so consider visiting her.

Make note that some of our youth will be part of the musical Mamma Mia! in March. Tickets are on sale at showtix4u.com under Yoh Theatre at WUHSMS, $12/adults, $7/students and seniors and now you can actually choose your seats! The dates are: Friday, March 15, 7pm; Saturday, March 16, 7pm; and Sunday, March 17, 3pm
