Although I was enjoying the warmer weather, I will say that the snow is lovely. I just wasn’t ready for it! The colder temps have allowed it to stay around. Killington is likely quite happy with their World Cup events and I believe that Okemo may be opening this coming weekend.
In speaking with Midge Tucker, I learned that due to illness, the 11/26 and 27 Craft Fair sponsored by the Historical Society has been canceled. I understand that they are hoping to provide other activities, such as Sunday afternoon movies at the Community Center on a monthly basis. New members are always welcome!
Prepare to have some fun at the Coolidge Holiday Open House on Sat, 12/3. Gather for the lighting of the Christmas tree, singing carols, and other entertainment.
It is with great pleasure that I announce the arrival of Lauren and Matt Harootunian’s twin sons, Logan and Landon, who join big brother, Liam.
I missed some November birthdays and others are coming up: Willow Bascom (11/2), the younger Julia Baldwin (11/20), and Joan Day (11/30). Congratulations one and all!
Condolences to the family of Julia Pierson, formerly of Dublin Rd, who passed away at the Gill Home this week. There will be a memorial service at Tyson Church at 1 PM on Friday, 12/2.
A reminder about the important Select Board meeting at 6 PM on Monday, 11/21. There are so many crucial issues to be discussed – weatherization/bond issue, cannabis moving forward, pending law suit, audit review, budget and more. Attend in person or via Zoom.
