Get ready for the fun and activities that will be the highlight of this coming weekend – Old Home Day at the President Coolidge Historic Site on Saturday 8/5 from 10 – 4 Jim Cooke will portray John Quincy Adams at 1:30 in the Union Christian Church and the afternoon Cheese Factory will have delicious samples to offer, so you can decide what flavor to take home.
Enjoy traditional crafts, farm demonstrations, wagon rides and the Chicken BBQ by Plymouth Emergency Services. I regret that I will not be there this year to help serve because I really enjoy visiting with everyone. I will also miss the Book Group meeting this Thursday.
So, from toasty Sacramento, where it is a bit hazy from the two fires at least two hours away in two different directions, I send my best. We came out to visit friends and to attend a wedding (Joan Wilson’s) I, however took a fall and had three screws inserted in my hip. Therefore I have had to remain out here while Tom returned home. I am healing nicely and receiving good care, as well as extra hugs from friends, Tom and Nancy.
