Construction Update Route VT-100

The Vermont Agency of Transportation (AOT) is investing in Plymouth – Ludlow, repaving VT-100 from Route 4 to VT-103.

DATE: May 6, 2021

VT-100 WHAT’S HAPPENING: This summer, AOT is paving VT-100 from the intersection of Route 4 in Plymouth (Bridgewater mile marker .967) to the intersection with VT Route 103 (Ludlow mile marker 5.087). In coordination with the paving, AOT will also be replacing guardrail and installing rumble strips. 

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: This week, subcontractor Waters Excavation has been stabilizing the work zone, including removal of berm. This will continue next week. Subcontractor FR Lafayette will begin guardrail installation next week. With these operations, motorists can expect to see work zones. 

TRAFFIC IMPACT: Starting May 5, drivers can expect one-lane operations during construction (6:00 am until 6:00 pm). Travel will be managed by flaggers. 
Stone has been installed on embankments to stabilize the areas.

LOCATION: VT-100 in Plymouth between VT-100A and Route 4.

PROJECTED COMPLETION: August, 2022
